TopGear UK Season 17 Premiere 6/26/11

Brent is welcoming ppl over to his house in Stoneybrook East (south of Waterford Lakes area) for a TopGear Series 17 premiere event on Sunday early evening 06/26/11 for those interested. rather, those DIEHARD TG UK fans such as myself.

if you are interested, please feel free to reply here. i'm gonna be there fosho!
Brent says we'll order up some pizza, have a few drinks, & just chill.

i believe the torrent sites will have the episode listed by about 5 or 6PM, maybe earlier. i'm going to DL it, throw it on a USB drive and head over there. we'll connect a PC to the tv and all should be well.

Damn excited for Top Gear Season 17. Top Gear UK is much more better than US for me.

Normally, I wont get the HD ep normally until 8-9pm (a combo of lots of people DL'ing at once and the fact they release them ~1hr after they air in the UK). The SD version I can get by aroung 5:30pm. I dont think brent would want to have people over that late on a sunday.

update: the gathering is still on. received a facebook post from our fellow CFBMW'er, Brent, inquiring if the shindig was still going down this Sunday.

i apologize for goofing on the release date of Series 17, but i swear on everything holy, the date DID in fact change.

anywho, i'll be hounding and stalking my favorite private tracker IPT constantly in search of the torrent DL release. will get both SD (HDTV rip) and 720p version if available, slap them on a portable HDD and head on over.

Brent, if you could do me a solid and msg me your # on FB, i'd greatly appreciate it so i can keep you in the loop on the expected timeframe.

the only TopGear that truly matters is BACK, and it's gonna be great!!!!

sidenote: the 2011 F1 European Grand Prix is also on this Sunday @ the Valencia street circuit... might have to give that a go as well? if time permits and ppl are interested.
